Lot Description
Victorian silver cream jug, of bulbous form with scalloped rim, leaf capped scroll handle and raised above three stylised paw feet, the main body embossed with flowers, foliage and scroll motifs around a vacant cartouche. Hallmarked London 1866, maker's mark partly obscured but ending in letter L. Maximum height measures 4 3/8 inches (11 cm), weight 3.67 ozt (114.2 grams).

Condition Report
The jug displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some deeper scratches visible to some areas and various minor nicks and surface dints. Remnants of polish are also visible to some areas. Maker's mark and standard mark are partly worn, but other marks are clear and legible.
