Lot Description
Art Deco silver mounted table cigarette box of plain rectangular form, the hinged cover with rounded corners, engine turned decoration, and opening to reveal a wooden interior with a single divider. Hallmarks are partly obscured but probably Birmingham 1937, maker William Neale & Son Ltd. Measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) by 3 1/2 inches (9 cm).

Condition Report
The box displays general wear and surface marks and scratches. There are quite a large number of deeper scratches visible, especially around the sides, also numerous small surface dints and nicks. Hinged cover is in working order, although there is a slight gap when it is closed. The mount is coming away from the sides in a couple of places. Hallmarks are partly obscured, mainly the Assay mark, other marks mainly legible.
