Lot Description
Late Victorian Scottish silver dish of oval form, decorated to the interior with alternating oval panels depicting male and female masks, either side of two central vacant panels, all within beaded and foliate borders. Hallmarked James Reid & Co., Glasgow 1895. Maximum length measures 9 3/4 inches (25 cm), weight 10.45 ozt (325 grams).

Condition Report
The dish appears to be in fairly good overall condition with general light wear and surface marks and scratches and some tarnishing. Some deeper scratches in some areas and some minor surface nicks, especially some visible to the plain interior base and the underside. Embossed decoration is still generally good. Hallmarks to the underside are clear and legible.
