Lot Description
A 1930's silver compact of circular form with inset blue enamel lid decorated with a raised silver coloured crown to the centre. (mirror to interior is broken). Hallmarked Page, Keen & Page (Plymouth), Birmingham 1930. Diameter measures 4.8 cm.

Condition Report
Silver displays general wear, some tarnishing and general surface marks and scratches. Numerous deeper, more visible scratches and nicks in the metal, also a couple of small dints, especially around the base rim. The blue enamel inset to the lid also displays several deeper scratches and nicks. Hinges in good working order, although there is a slight gap when closed. The mirror to the interior is broken in several pieces. Part hallmarks to lid and full hallmarks to underside are all legible. The underside is also stamped Page Plymouth.
