Lot Description
Late Victorian silver buckle of pierced oblong from, decorated all over with flowers and scrolling foliage, the plain central bar with three prongs, hallmarked Chester 1897; together with a small scarf ring of oval hinged form with engraved foliate motifs to the front and stamped 'The Walton's Flexible Patent' to the reverse, stamped silver to the interior. Maximum length of buckle measures 3 3/8 inches (8.5 cm), length of clip measures 1 inch (2.5 cm), combined weight 1.25 ozt (39 grams).

Condition Report
Both items display some tarnish and general wear, also general surface marks and scratches commensurate with their age and use. Hinges on both are in working order. Hallmarks on the buckle are legible, also part hallmarks to the central bar and prongs.
