Lot Description
A 1930's silver compact of small circular form, decorated to the lid with an engine turned graduating pattern and opening to reveal a fitted metal interior stamped 'La Vogue', hallmarked Birmingham 1931, maker's mark DRH; together with small plain silver oval box of compressed form with hinged cover to the top and hanging from a suspension chain, box hallmarked E J Trevitt & Sons, Chester 1915, and an Edwardian silver posy holder, hallmarked Adie & Lovekin Ltd., Birmingham 1907. Gross combined weight 1.7 ozt (53.4 grams). (3).

Condition Report
All three items display general wear and surface marks and scratches. Some more visible scratches to the underside of the compact and numerous scratches and marks to the interior. The hinge is in working order, however the clasp is now loose and can be easily removed and the metal insert can also be removed. There is a slight gap when closed. Also contains small powder puff named 'La Vogue'. Hallmarks to underside are partly distorted, part hallmarks are legible. The other two items are quite tarnished with various minor nicks and small surface dints in the metal. The box in particular has numerous small dints. Hallmarks to both are clear and legible.
