A Victorian silver visiting card case of plain curved rectangular form and attached pendant loop, slight gilded appearance/finish. Hallmarked George Unite & Sons Birmingham 1897, registered number 227669. Height measuring 3 1/4 inches (8.2 cm), weight 1.4 ozt (43 grams).

The card case displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The hinge allows sideways movement and appears to have had a small solder repair. As mentioned in the description the finish has a slight gilt tone appearance. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
