Lot Description

A mid 20th century gold enamel locket. The two oval-shape hinged panels with blue enamel stars and engraved leaf decoration to one and floral knot engraving to the other, suspended from a trace-link chain. Length of pendant 4.1cms. Length of chain 48cms. Weight 21.3gms.

Condition Report

The lot is in fair overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The front and back of the locket are not original to each other and are different colours and designs. The chain shows significant discolouration and wear. Spring ring clasp replacement. The chain and half the locket are 18ct gold, the enamel locket face is 12ct gold.
