Lot Description
A freshwater cultured pearl multi-row necklace. Comprising seven rows of freshwater cultured pearls, to the oval-shape amethyst and split pearl clasp. Length 46cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair - poor. The clasp was originally a brooch and has been adapted into a clasp at a later date. There is visible solder where the new fittings have been added. There are easily visible inclusions and patchy colour to the amethysts, abrasion to the facet edges, the split pearls vary in shade with visible blemishes. There is discolouration and greening to the frame of the clasp, the centre panel possibly removed. There are blisters and blemishes to all freshwater cultured pearls.
