Lot Description

A base metal manual wind open face military issue pocket watch signed Rolex circa 1939, the white

enamel dial with hourly applied black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock,

outer minute track, plain case, the back engraved with broad arrow above reference B 12610, signed

fifteen jewel calibre 548 with Côtes de Genève decoration to plates, club tooth lever escapement and overcoil hairspring. Case diameter 52mm.

Rolex pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, movement shows some light marks and slight discolouration, dial shows discolouration, marks and scratches from use, there is a deep mark visible to the dial, seconds hand has some dust attached, hands appear to have been poorly re-painted as finish is uneven, glass is scratched from use, case has medium scratches, case back is scratched from use, bow and pendant are scratched and discoloured.
