Egypt, Masonic Jewel, The Kitchener Lodge, Lodge No.3402, silver-gilt with red and white enamel, crowned double K with Lord Kitchener’s motto THOROUGH, original suspension ribbon with sphinx and pyramids on ribbon bars, hallmarked Birmingham 1909. Good extremely fine, interesting.
The Lodge was founded in Cairo in 1909, moving to Cyprus in 1955 where it flourishes still.
