Lot Description

Rolls Royce interest: a pair of limited edition bronzed busts. Modelled as Messrs Rolls and Royce, numbered 103 beneath, with accompanying certificate stating; "Specially commissioned by the firm to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the meeting of Charles Stewart Rolls and Frederick Henry Royce at the Midland Hotel, Manchester, on 4 May 1904. These busts are models of the bronzes of the founders of the Rolls Royce company produced in 1934 by William McMillan RA", each 8.5", (21.5cm) high.
