Elliot, Daniel Giraud (after), "A Monograph of the Paradisiae or Birds of Paradise". A 1977 facsimile edition double elephant folio of the seminal 1873 work, containing 17 (of 35) principally monochrome lithographic prints, a few heightened in gilt, in gilt-stamped half black morocco and grey cloth presentation case stamped SANGORSKI & SUTCLIFFE/ZAEHNSDORF, 20" x 25", (51cm x 63.5cm), together with a coloured lithographic print of 'Harpactes Ardens' after Gould & Richter.
