A Salter 'Albion' weighing machine. No. 214 S, to weigh 20 stone (280 lbs) in 1lb increments, with 13-inch white circular scale raised on a ring-knopped column and platform base, with boxwood height scale measuring from 95cm/3 ft to 2 metres/6ft 6in, overall height 87", (221cm).
