Lot Description
An early 20th century 15ct gold seed pearl and turquoise brooch. Of openwork design, the split pearl scrolling surmount with circular turquoise cabochon detail, suspending a later replacement split pearl heart. Length 3.7cms. Total weight 3.7gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair to good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The heart pendant and associated surmount are replacements. Main body of brooch stamped 15ct. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The turquoise appear blue through slightly greenish blue in colour. Minor abrasions. The split pearls appear moderately matched, some appearing darker/discoloured, some replacement to main brooch. Small areas of discolouration to mount.
