Lot Description

A modern brass-framed skeleton timepiece with passing strike. Having a 5.5-inch silvered Roman dial framing a wire-driven single-fusee four-pillar movement with wheels of five crossings, hour-striking on a bell surmount, via 'pikestaff' hammer, on a bulbous reversed S-scroll frame, 13.5", (34.5cm) high, with turned mahogany base and glass dome, 16", (40cm) high overall.
