A George IV silver bachelor teapot, the body of octagonal form with engraved crest, ebonised handle and knop. Hallmarked London 1828, maker's mark indistinct ??E, marked to the underside 'K. Lewis 22 St James St'. Maximum height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm), weight 10 ozt (313 grams).
