Lot Description
A 1930's silver mounted glass caster, of tapering form with plain silver collar and detachable pierced silver lid, the glass with strawberry, diamond and star cut panels, silver hallmarked Barker Brothers Silver Ltd., Birmingham 1934. Height including lid finial measures 6 1/4 inches (16 cm).

Condition Report
The caster displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Some tarnishing to the silver mounts and also some small dints and bumps. Lid is quite a tight fit. Possible repair to finial on lid. Some slight rubbing to hallmarks and some partial distortion to maker's mark and hallmarks on lid but all are still legible. The glass displays some small edge nicks and chips.
