Lot Description
A modern set of eight silver goblets, each of plain slightly tapering outline with knopped stem leading to a spreading circular foot, hallmarked W I Broadway & Co., Birmingham 1979. Together with a silver plated tray with shaped and pierced gallery rim and decorated with floral, foliate and scroll motifs to the centre. Height of goblets measures 6 1/4 inches (16 cm), combined silver weight 43.45 ozt (1352 grams). (9).

Condition Report
The goblets appear in fairly good condition overall. They display some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Interiors were likely once gilded but this is now faded. Some deeper scratches and nicks are visible, especially some nicks around the main rims. One of the goblets has a knock to the foot rim so that it wobbles slightly when standing. This goblet also has some little gouges to the main rim. Some slight rubbing but hallmarks are all still clear and legible. General tarnishing and surface marks and scratches to the tray, also some minor dints.
