Lot Description

A modern silver mounted photograph frame of rectangular form with engine turned decoration to the border, wooden easel back, hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Birmingham 1989, together with a smaller, similar example, hallmarked Birmingham 1991, same maker. Dimensions measure 9 inches (23 cm) by 7 inches (18 cm) and 8 inches (20.3 cm) by 6 1/8 inches (15.5 cm) respectively.

Both frames appear to be in fair condition.  They both display general surface scratches, marks, wear and light tarnishing.  Some deeper scratches, contact marks and nicks are visible.  There are also some small dints to the edge of the silver mount on the larger frame, so that it is slightly out of shape.  Some slight rubbing but hallmarks are still legible.
