A large Asian bowl of bulbous circular form, ornately embossed with a band depicting mythical creatures, deities and other figures within decorative foliate borders, personal name inscription to the underside. Rim diameter measures 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), height measures 5 inches (12.7 cm), weight 801.6 grams.

The bowl displays general surface scratches and nicks, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Heavier tarnishing to some areas and slight loss of surface detail to some of the high relief decoration.  Numerous deeper scratches and contact marks to the underside.
