Lot Description
A late Victorian silver sovereign holder of circular form with engine turned decoration and vacant cartouche, hallmarked Minshull & Latimer, Birmingham 1896. Together with an Edwardian silver mounted miniature common prayer book, hallmarked 1906, height measuring 5.5 cm. (2).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The engine turned decoration has rubbed, completely in some areas, sprung platform appears concave with some splits to the mount. The prayer book appears quite worn, dints and creases to the silver. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
