Lot Description

A quantity of silver items and medals, to include a Canadian Voluntary Service 1939-1945 medal, a medallion depicting a soldier in profile, marked J. Fonson, a late Victorian silver napkin ring, together with a 1960's silver cased pencil, monogrammed. Napkin ring hallmarked Hillard & Thomason, Birmingham 1893. Weight of napkin ring and pencil 1.26 ozt (39.4 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Significant tarnish. Pencil has a small dent, possibly not working. Medallion has heavy scratches. Pencil hallmarked YOL, London 1964. Hallmarks to napkin ring slightly worn.
