Condition Report
The item displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Spots and patches of heavier tarnishing are visible. There are several surface dints to the main body including one area of much larger dints and bumps. Seam line is visible all the way around the spherical body. Slight loss of surface detail to flame finial and the rim is a little misshapen, also some minor rim nicks. Some rubbing to hallmarks and partial distortion to maker's mark but still just legible. Part hallmarks to lid are indistinct, although lion passant is just visible.
