Lot Description

A cased set of silver cocktail sticks, each mounted with an enamelled cockerel terminal. Hallmarked Adolph Scott Ltd., Birmingham 1947/48/49. Length measures 3 1/4 inches (8.2 cm), gross weight 14.8 grams.

All the cocktail sticks display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Some wear and rounding to the pointed edges.  Heavier tarnishing is visible, especially to the reverse of the cockerels and the tops of the sticks.  There is some slight damage to the enamel, mainly around the edges.  However, the colours are still quite bright.  Hallmarks are mainly clear and legible.  Also marked 'Made in England' to the reverse of each cockerel.  Some wear and deterioration to the box.
