Lot Description

A 1930's large silver cigarette case of oblong form with engine turned decoration and personal inscription, hallmarked A E Poston & Co Ltd, Birmingham 1937, height measuring 5 inches (13 cm). Together with two further silver cigarette cases, hallmarked Birmingham 1905 and 1932, a Victorian silver sifter spoon, hallmarked 1879, a silver plated bud vase, two pairs of modern cloisonné enamel bird ornaments and various cupronickel Crowns. Gross weighable silver 12.2 ozt (381 grams).

In varied state. All items display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The cigarette cases are in quite poor condition including being heavily dented, one also missing clasp. Coins heavily circulated.
