A modern silver snuff or pill box of oblong form, basket weave edges and the lid depicting a stylised figurative country scene, hallmarked Douglas Pell Silverware, London 1979, length measuring 5.5 cm. Together with a second modern silver snuff or pill box of oblong form with engine turned decoration and scroll rim, hallmarked S J Rose & Son, Birmingham 1969, length measuring 4.7 cm. Gross combined weight 89 grams. (2).

Condition Report
In good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
The engine turned decorated example has remnants of old polish to the interior, the gilding also discoloured. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
