Lot Description
A Victorian silver snuff box, the elongated narrow form with floral engraving and scroll edge opening to reveal a silver-gilt interior. Hallmarked Neill & Cook, Birmingham 1859. Length measuring 9 cm, weight 101 grams.

Condition Report
In good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
A little loss of definition to some of the decoration. Cartouche to lid feels a little concave and may have had an engraving removed. Smartwater/UV numbers have been written to the lid interior. Areas of the silver-gilt have worn. The hallmarks a little distorted but worn.
