A Victorian Irish silver christening mug, of baluster form with oblique embossed flowers and scrolls with initialled cartouche, swan handle and raised on a circular footed pedestal base. Hallmarked James Moore, Dublin 1846. Height measuring 4 inches (10.5 cm), weight 4.1 ozt (129 grams).

There are some dents around the body and base. Remnants of polish to the recesses.  The hallmarks are clear and legible.
