A George III silver cream jug of oval bodied form, reeded rims and engraved borders. Hallmarked London 1797, maker's mark indistinct. Height measuring 4 inches (10 cm), weight 3.7 ozt (116 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints and bumps. The engraved decoration has rubbed. Definition of decoration has worn. Solder seam visible. Possible small repair to the underside area below the top join of handle. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible. Maker's mark indistinct.
