Lot Description

Two early 20th century mahogany balloon-form mantel clocks. The first with 4.75-inch convex white Roman dial , the two-train movement striking on a coiled gong,  the chequer-strung waisted case on a moulded plinth and brass ball feet, 11.5", (29cm) high the second by Phillipp Haas & Sohne, with shaped top and side handles over simulated 'inlay', on a moulded plinth and compressed bun feet, same size, (2).

1. Three front to back cracks to top, filled-in flake loss to back edge.
2. Staining around winding squares. Movement loose, lacks pendulum. Case has some wrinkling and scuffs, white spots to lower body. No rear door handle.
