The 4-inch pierced silvered Roman chapter ring framing a gut-driven single-fusee movement with wheels of four crossings beneath anchor escapement and bell surmount, the four-pillar brass scroll frame, 9", (23cm) high, on a turned ebonised base beneath glass dome, 12.5", (32cm) overall.
