A George III inlaid mahogany stick barometer.
A. Bizzanelo, circa 1790, the named silvered plate centered by an exposed main tube flanked by an ethanol Fahrenheit thermometer, and a scale reading from 27 to 31 inches of pressure with remarks, beside vernier, the whole behind crossbanded and boxwood-strung glazed door, the conforming trunk with architectural broken pediment over turned cistern cover, 38.5", (97.5cm) high.

Small dint to top of scale. Tight crack to cistern cover. Mercury is 'threaded', barometer has never had an adjusting knob beneath to lock tube for transit.
