An early 20th century 15ct gold diamond and split pearl crescent and star brooch. The old-cut diamond star burst, to the graduated split pearl crescent. Estimated total diamond weight 0.70ct, I-J colour, SI clarity. Length 4.3cms. Weight 5.3gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with the age of the piece. The split pearls are well matched and in good condition. The diamonds are bright, with small inclusions visible with magnification. A claw to one of the settings has broken off and would need attention. The back pin and catch is secure. The back catch fitting appears to have been replaced, with a small amount of visible lead solder.
