A Howard & Sons walnut-legged 'club' armchair
Late 19th century, the 'Bridgewater' type overstuffed back and arms on a deep straight-fronted T-shaped seat and turned tapering forelegs with brass caps, the four castors all stamped "HOWARD & SONS LTD LONDON, one rear leg stamped '14113 2102 HOWARD & SONS LTD BERNERS ST', 32" (81cm) seat width and height (requires reupholstery).
