A Howard & Sons walnut-legged 'Bridgewater' armchair
Late 19th century, the overstuffed back and arms on a deep T-shaped seat and turned tapering forelegs, one rear leg stamped '10533 5652 HOWARD & SONS LTD BERNERS ST' on brass swivel castors, the front pair additionally having caps and stamped "HOWARD & SONS LTD LONDON, 29" seat width x 34" high, (73.5cm x 86cm), (requires reupholstery).
