A good George IV brass inlaid mahogany cased twin fusee repeating bracket clock with centre sweep alarm.
William Hampson Junior (fl. 1820-1836).
The 8-inch silvered Roman dial with inner quarter hour alarm track, engraved 'W. Hampson Jun'r London', the wire driven twin fusee movement striking on a bell, the case with fan-reeded surmount, brass cushion-moulded frieze and fan-reeded spandrels framing a convex-glazed brass bezel, bombe-sided base and brass strung plinth on brass ball feet, the sides with brass fish-scale frets and gilt canted front corners, 18" (46cm) high.

Dial- general tarnishing. Movement- appears sound but untested. Unsigned to backplate. Case- Finial missing. Veneer cracks to each side of top, losses to both front corners. Minor loss below rear door.
