A high quality modern patinated brass table regulator by Sinclair Harding, No 972
The silvered Breguet style Roman chapter ring with dotted minute band and conforming seconds ring marked at 20, 40 and 60, flanked by engraved plates 'SINCLAIR' and 'HARDING', the main dial framing skeletonised movement with double three-legged escapement, wheels of five crossings, the 8-day power reserve beating the half-seconds on an unusual ‘high Q’ spherical pendulum, the arched bronzed case with urn finial and stepped surmount, bevelled glazing, foliate mounts and canted stepped base on ball feet, 22", (56cm) high.
