A late 19th century French inlaid rosewood-cased carriage or travelling clock.

The 3-inch silvered Roman dial inscribed HENRI MARC A PARIS, the two train movement with silk suspension (lacking thread) and outside countwheel-striking on a bell, with oval maker's stamp and number 10298, the case with roof glazing framed by cast handle and foliate inlay, over conforming marquetry on stepped base, 7.5" (19cm) high excluding handle.
