Lot Description
A mid 20th century silver and gold garnet and diamond brooch. The old-cut diamond star, to the circular garnet cabochon garnet, within a rose-cut diamond, suspending a similarly designed drop. Estimated central diamond weight 0.30ct. French assay marks. Length 6.8cms. Weight 35.3gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches, dents and areas of discolouration to the brooch. There are significant scratches to the garnets. Several of the diamonds are drawing colour, there are several diamonds deficient, several diamonds are chipped. The settings may need to be secured. The back pin and catch is secure.
