A mid 20th century platinum diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, weighing 1.85cts, to the baguette-cut diamond shoulders and tapered band. Principal diamond estimated L-tinted colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Weight 3.5gms.

Overall condition good to fair. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with overall wear. Inner band stamped plat. The diamond is obviously drawing yellow, there are small inclusions visible with magnification. There are some small nibbles to the girdle visible with magnification. Estimated total shoulder diamond weight 0.45ct, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.
