An early twentieth century twin handled sugar box of circular form, applied strap-work decoration, twin handles, hinged lid and raised above a circular footed base. Hallmarked Martin, Hall & Co (Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall), Sheffield 1910, numbered 5456. Height measuring 6 1/4 inches (15.5 cm), weight 24.7 ozt (769 grams).
