Condition Report
There are numerous dents and scratches, particularly around the corners. One corner of the lid is split and another heavily dented. There are deeper scratches on one side surrounding the worn maker's mark. The wood lined interior is in fairly good condition but is missing a partition. The hinge works smoothly. The lion passant and date letter are clear and legible but there is no assay mark and the maker's mark is partially obscured.
