Condition Report
Amendment to the previous description and printed catalogue description that the oval box is actually Dutch and is struck with the Dutch Lion Passant mark. The overall condition of each box appears fair. They all display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Remnants of polish and some loss of surface detail to raised decoration. The German lobed box displays yellowish colour patches, possibly remnants of gilding? The lid rises slightly in the closed position. The hinged lid of the oval box is a little loose and overhangs a little when in the closed position.
