Lot 468

Lot Description

A German silver mounted bell of plain form, German marks for Lutz & Weiss, the Reichsmark and standard mark of 800. Together with a continental tazza with caryatid and scroll mounted stem and stone set borders, stamped 800, and a continental mounted glass decanter, stamped 800, AF. (3).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

All three items display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use and to varying degrees.  There is a knock and slight dint to the rim of the bell and the ebonised handle is fairly loose.  The shallow dish of the tazza is now on a diagonal slant.  There is a large split in the metal to the centre of the dish, around the join with the stem.  Knocks and heavier contact wear to the underside of the mount to the glass decanter.  Some minor edge nicks/chips to glass.
