Lot Description

A set of seven Norwegian enamelled spoons with teardrop shaped bowls and elongated shaped handles, decorated with different coloured guilloché enamel and a white enamelled zigzag border, each stamped '930S', with the maker's mark for Marius Hammer, Bergen. Together with a similarly designed blue and white enamelled silver spoon with scrolling neck and pointed terminal, stamped '930S' and corresponding maker's mark. Length of spoons 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), gross weight 6.55 ozt (185.8 grams).

The enamel appears in varied state, with numerous large chips and losses present to the majority. Maker's mark only present to 5.
