Lot Description

A cased pair of white metal filigree spoons, with twist stems leading towards eagle and peacock tail terminals. Together with a cased set six of Norwegian cake forks by Thorvald Marthinsen Sølvvarefabrikk, and a set of six continental teaspoons with crested terminal, stamped '800'. Length of filigree spoons 6 9/16 (16.7 cm). (3).

All the items appear in fairly good overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  There is a small break in the rim of the bowl of one of the filigree spoons.  Some slightly heavier scratches and nicks to the fork tines but they have generally faired quite well.  The spoon bowls and enamel crests have also faired quite well.
