Lot Description

An Art Deco cased set of six silver teaspoons with sugar nips, hallmarked Harrison Brothers & Howson, Sheffield 1939/1940/1941, registered number 808684. Together with a further cased set of six silver teaspoons with sugar nips, hallmarked Gladwin Ltd, Sheffield 1932 and a set of early twentieth century tea knives with silver reed and ribbon handles, hallmarked Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd. Gross weighable silver 7.7 ozt (242 grams). (3).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Both sets of spoons appear in good overall condition, the cases however displaying more significant signs of wear, the catch on the second set is broken. The tea knives are in poor condition, heavily dinted and worn, on handle has also come off, hallmarks quite worn to these also, the case may also be associated.
