A Victorian Aesthetic period cased set of silver teaspoons with sugar tongs and caddy spoon, each engraved with a stylised scene of a bird in flight above flowers. Hallmarked Henry John Lias & James Wakely, London 1881. Gross weight 2.8 ozt (87.4 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. One of the tips to a teaspoon bowl has been dented/twisted. Some variance in the condition of the hallmarks, some parts rubbed but overall legible.
