A George III Old English pattern silver stilton scoop. Hallmarked London 1783, maker's mark indistinct. Length measuring 7 1/2 inches (19 cm), weight 1.5 ozt (47.6 grams).

File mark and acid test to the reverse centre of the stem. No personal engraving. Definition of the heel is a little rubbed as is the Leopard's head hallmark, remnants only of the maker's mark visible.
